Project Manager / Project Co-ordinator - German speaking

THE ROLE

I am seeking a Project Manager in the Building Construction industry who has at least B2 German and good English to join a firm of construction consultants in Munich, Germany.

You will work on a range of construction projects including logistics / warehousing, residential and commercial buildings for large mainly international clients.

You will work on projects from planning stage through to project delivery and you will deal with the consultants, the client and contractors.

You should also have a good commercial understanding of budgets, cash flows etc.

THE COMPANY

My client is a firm of construction consultants providing both project management and cost management for large building projects for new build, refurbishment, fit-out etc.

They have offices across Germany, the U.K. and elsewhere in Europe.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be Degree or MSc qualified in a construction related subject e.g. Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering or other Building Construction subject.

You will need to have gained three years experience or more in a building construction related role i.e. Architect, Project Manager, Development Manager.

You will ideally have been working for a firm of building construction consultants or worked client-side.

You must have gained experience of working a range of construction projects of high value.

You will need to have German at B2 level or higher and good English.

Good communication skills are essential and to have the ability to deal with people at all levels.

Salary is according to experience but in the region of Euro 70000 to 85000 per annum plus bonus and other benefits.
