Role of the Quantity Surveyor:

Compilation of feasibility estimates and detailed cost plansPreparation of tender documentation and pre-tender estimatesTender analysis and compilation of contract documentsAttending site as requiredAdvising Clients and colleagues on procurement optionsValue management, value engineeringAssessment of works in progress for valuation purposesClient and project risk managementProject financial control such as cost reporting, valuationsNegotiations and agreement of final accounts

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor:

BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying with minimum of 3 years Quantity Surveying experienceMRICS qualified or working towards Final AssessmentPQS/Consultancy backgroundBackground in traditional build projects (Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Education)Good IT skills with Microsoft Word and Excel systemsFull clean driving licence
