Current Team Information
A dynamic team made up of 4 Directors, 2 Associate Directors, 3 Surveyors, 3 Graduates and 2 Administrators specialising in the sale and valuation of residential and commercial development opportunities across South East England. The Role & Key Responsibilities An opportunity for an ambitious and qualified Surveyor with at least 1 years PQE to join the Sevenoaks Development team. We are seeking a general practice candidate with the ability and enthusiasm to focus on the continued growth of our business. The successful candidate will be part of a team of 14, but working closely with all team members and colleagues from the London teams, Guildford development team and other regional offices to provide robust advice to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have an existing development valuation, agency or consultancy background and be capable of supporting, winning, leading and executing development related instructions across the region, although of benefit to the role, experience in the preparation of formal valuations is not strictly necessary. If relevant support will also be available to attain RICS Registered Valuer status.
The candidate should be interested in challenging projects and be able to demonstrate the ability to think long term, whilst retaining a focus on how to best extract value for clients and profit for the team. The candidate should ideally have some knowledge of Kent/Sussex and the surrounding area, although not essential.
Key Duties
Providing consultancy advice to both private sector clients and public sector
Supporting the disposals and acquisitions of development opportunities
Providing red book valuations for loan security, accounts, tax and other purposes
Support pitches, targeting and winning new business and agreeing the scope of instructions / fees
Conducting site search analysis and land assembly
Technical ability to liaise with other design team professionals e.g. architects, QS, planning advisors
Point of contact for clients and management of client relations
Liaison with all departments within Savills and external development teams
In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

Have an entrepreneurial outlook and always be mindful of opportunities to improve client service
Able to work independently but strong team working skills are also essential
Develop and maintain active communication both within the Development team and the wider
Savills business.
