What you would be doing

• Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
• Cost planning
• Cost-in-use studies
• Advising and implementing procurement strategies
• Preparing tend documentation and managing the tender process
• Evaluating and reporting on tenders
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
• Settling final accounts
• Administrating contracts
• Producing and presenting reports to Clients.

What they are looking for

Quantity Surveyor responsible for managing costs and budgets of construction projects, including new builds and refurbishments from early cost advice to settlement of the final account.

• Degree qualified, MRICS or working towards
• Practical experience of cost estimating and planning
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Good communication written and oral
• Excellent organisational skills
• Clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts
