Associate / Senior Associate - Measured Surveys

The Vacancy

A great opportunity has arisen to join our Measured Surveys team. We are one of Hollis’s fastest growing services and are looking for a Senior Associate / Associate Surveyor to join our highly skilled team to be based in our Birmingham, Bristol or Nottingham offices. We operate as one team and you will also collaborate with our wider measured surveys team, based in the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe. 

We undertake all types of measurement surveys from Land Surveying, Area Referencing, Laser Scanning and Revit Modelling. You will be expected to undertake your own surveys or as part of a team, register survey data and process your own data to create 2D & 3D deliverables.

The role will be a 50/50 split of site and office based work. You will also be expected to train and develop the graduate surveyors in the team. The role also involves elements of project management, so good skills in this are essential. You will be a key member of the team and be involved in business planning and the further growth of the team.

Areas of Responsibility

• Undertaking your own surveys or as part of a team.
• Management of Revit projects. 
• 50/50 site and office work.
• Capture, register and process your own survey data.
• Undertake all types of measurement surveys including; Laser Scanning, Measured Building Surveys, Area Referencing Surveys and Topographical Surveys.
• You will have previous experience of managing projects and coordinating resources.
• We have ambitious plans to continue to grow the team in the Midlands & South West and your role will play a key part in this.

Qualifications/Skills

• Geomatics or Land Surveying.
• 5-10 years experience.
• Good knowledge of Revit and management of Revit projects essential.
• Experience of using laser scanners, total stations, LLS, Leica software & AutoCAD.
• Full clean drivers licence and own car.
• Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
• Good communications skills.
• Willingness to travel.
