My client is currently looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to fill a permanent position within their City Centre of Manchester. Interested candidates must have a wide range of surveying experience from project to professional.

Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:

Advising clients about building/property issues, which can include technical, financial, legal, environmental/sustainability, building regulation and restoration matters.Monitoring the deterioration or defects of a property and offering advice on repair work.Negotiating the repair of work or a financial settlement if required.Building Information ModellingManaging projects and/or multidisciplinary teamsTo diligently handle all instructions and to maintain comprehensive records for all work undertakenDilapidation Liability Assessment ReportsSchedules of ConditionParty Wall Duties

Requirements of the Building Surveyor:

Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)At least 3 years' postgraduate experience with provable technical delivery experienceSignificant exposure to, and good working relations with private sector clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skills

On offer for the Building Surveyor:

The starting salary for this position ranges from £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience along with a very attractive bonus scheme.
