The Commercial Team at WDH is a key function within the organisation and an increased demand for our services has led to an immediate need for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in Castleford.

The role is varied but primarily will focus on the day to day management of our portfolio of commercial properties along with dealing with internal and external land enquiries.

From an experience point of view this is a fantastic opportunity. You will be involved in a wide range of property related matters including valuations, sales, lettings, wayleaves and easements. You will be able to use your initiative, think on your feet and hit the ground running.

In addition to this, you will be able to train to become a Chartered Surveyor. You will receive full APC support and be given opportunities to increase your mandatory, core and technical skills with guidance, support and encouragement from a dedicated supervisor and an experienced property team.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for someone who has a desire to work within the Social Housing sector with a passion for commercial property management. You must be hard working, resilient and thrive from working in a team environment.

Our customers and internal stakeholders are our primary focus so you must be dedicated to providing a professional and exceptional service to a wide range of people.

As a new graduate you will receive on the job practical experience from our expert team. In addition, a RICS professional will work closely with you developing you into a Chartered Surveyor of the future.

Ideally you will have a RICS accredited, property related degree and will enroll straight away on the APC pathway to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor.

We will also consider someone who has degree of 2:1 or above with a view to converting your undergraduate degree before undertaking the APC.

Please see the Job description for further information about the role.
