Chartered Building Surveyor

A building surveyor is needed to help deliver investment led building surveying services for a well-regarded property consultancy in the City of London.

The firm provides a full range of Building Surveying services, from acquisition surveys, contract administration, defect diagnosis, dilapidation negotiation, project management and Loan Monitoring services.

They work with landlords and occupiers, banks, developers, institutions, high net worth and private clients.  Their London office is an impressive flagship for the business, the building consultancy team is diverse in its service offering and the building surveying team is small but very high yielding. This team is led by an admired and caring professional, who displays great passion for their work and creates excellent moral.

The role is focused on the transaction side of the industry and as such demands a building surveyor who enjoys their survey work. You will play an instrumental role in helping deliver a wide scope of projects, that comprise of CAT A + B fit-out and new build. You will also have rounded professional experience with dilapidations, party wall instructions through to defects diagnosis.

The successful chartered building surveyor will come from a private practice or consultancy, with commercial experience, well grounded, technically competent and have a charismatic personality.

In return you will be well paid, given full support to help develop and grow, as well as a very clear bonus structure that is purely based on personal performance with the ability to earn up to 50% of what you bill above a certain threshold.
