Applications are invited for an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our established Development Team at the University of St. Andrews, the Top Ranked University in the United Kingdom as stated in the Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022. We are seeking an individual with the skills and determination to drive forward a wide range of capital project developments whilst contributing to the University’s ambition to achieve Carbon Net Zero by 2035.

In the coming years, the University of St Andrews will invest £30m per annum in a programme of strategic capital developments and refurbishments across its estate informed by our strategic Campus Development Frameworks.

Reporting to the Head of Development (Commercial &Technical) and working closely with the Director of Estates and Project Sponsors; the Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of multiple individual capital projects commencing with the appointment of the Design Team and initiation of the project. This will involve detailed brief development, significant stakeholder engagement, managing design intent and quality objectives and articulating the vision and project benefits associated with a range of major capital projects.

Educated to degree level, it is expected that the successful candidate will have experience in a similar project development management role and will come prepared to begin work on a suite of exciting projects.

We are a busy team working in a dynamic work environment and are looking for an experienced professional to join us who has excellent interpersonal skills, strong self-management ability and a keen sense of initiative in this client facing role.
