Overview

Leading independent cost consultancy seek a cost manager at Senior/Associate Director level to lead a high end hotel project in London, W1.

With support from a director, you will be responsible for leading the project, circa £30m, from inception to completion. This role also offers the opportunity to lead a small team and be actively involved with leading and developing clients.

Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a chartered cost manager with proven experience delivering projects from inception to completion, preferably in the hotel or residential sector.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Managing hotel projects (new build and fit out)
• Managing all aspects of the cost, engaging with the client, construction and design team to drive the project forward
• Monitoring project progress against programme and reporting accordingly
• Acting as client contact 

The successful candidate:

• Degree qualified in a property/construction related subject 
• Ideally chartered, such as MRICS (or equivalent) 
• Proven cost management experience in a consultancy leading projects from inception to completion  
• Experience working on hotel / residential projects is advantageous 
• Confident in JCT contracts 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills;
