HAYS are proud to be working on a retained basis with Bailey Partnership, an award-winning consultant practice looking to recruit an experienced Clerk of Works to join their growing Southeast and South Coast teams based in their Sevenoaks or Chichester office. Your new role
As a Clerk of Works, you will be responsible for ensuring all FRA's are investigated, leaving no stone unturned. You will undertake regular inspections of surveys, monitoring progress and quality overseeing compliance, inspecting several ongoing projects within Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Day-to-day duties may include completing inspections to record any defects that are identified, cascading this to the relevant figureheads within the team. Overseeing building works to ensure quality, safety and timely completion of the projects. Where there is no requirement to undertake FRA's, a firm understanding of Type 4 FRA's is essential to ensure that the surveys are reviewed in the most meticulous manner. This is a great opportunity for an existing Clerk of Works, who may be looking to leave the contractor world in favour of moving client-side.


What you'll need to succeed

This role will offer a starting salary of £45,000 dependent on level of experience. You'll have access to a contributory company pension scheme and generous annual leave contribution. By nature, this role will involve travel to site location, at other times you'll be set-up to work remotely from home, which will be encouraged. However, you may also need to meet with your team or work form an office, at which point you could work from any of Bailey Partnership's network of offices in Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol or Sevenoaks and Chichester.
