Your new role
As a Programme Manager, you will be part of a newly formed team, formed to deliver an exciting package of work for prestigious clients. You will provide the benchmark to the rest of this resource heavy team, working with some complex buildings you may be presented with. You will be tasked with the day-to-day management of client relationship, including meetings, whilst ensuring you effectively communicate with other figureheads, such as the fire engineering team, so they can have input on the building. As a Programme Manager, you will receive FRA's, deep diving into these, which could be a complete replacement of a ceiling for compartmentation purposes and everything in between, fire doors, general backlog maintenance testing and making sure that buildings are compliant in the broadest possible sense.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, RIBA or any professionally recognised accreditations / memberships
  • Excellent building pathology or building technology knowledge
  • Construction, surveying, or engineering-based degree
  • Experience of fire integrity and compartmentation surveys to identify breaches
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - you will be articulate & empathetic
  • Understanding on the Fire Safety Act 2021
  • Understanding of the MHCLG guidelines regarding external wall systems along with building regulations would be highly advantageous.

This role will offer a salary of up to £65,000 dependent on level of experience. You will have access to a contributory company pension scheme and generous annual leave contribution. By nature, this role will involve travel to site location, at other times you will be set-up to work remotely from home, which will be encouraged. However, you may also need to meet with your team or work form an office, at which point you could work from any of Bailey Partnership's network of offices in Sevenoaks and Chichester.
