Quantity Surveyor

Fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a progressive multi-disciplined construction property consultancy working on award winning projects across multiple sectors.

About the role

With almost 80 year's experience in the industry this impressive consultancy provides numerous services including Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Employers Agent and more. Functioning from 6 offices across the UK they work on projects ranging from £100k - £100m across commercial/industrial, education, healthcare, mixed use, residential and retail sectors. Previous projects include the luxurious grade 2 listed UAE embassy, the Gherkin and the Scalpel!

As the Quantity Surveyor you will work in the Orpington office working both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues. You will be responsible for pre and post contract work including estimating, cost planning, valuations, variations, reports, forecasts and settlement of final accounts.

About you

The successful candidate will be degree qualified (RICS accredited) and be MRICS or working towards chartership. You will also have experience working in the residential sector and have managed your own projects, therefore feel comfortable communication with clients - both maintaining and establishing new relationships.
