Rural Surveyor

Hays Property and Surveying are seeking a Rural Surveyor to join a leading property consultancy based in Salisbury.

The company are a well-known brand that specialises in providing a full spectrum of Rural Consultancy and Estate Management advice to a portfolio of predominantly private clients. The business is currently going through a significant growth strategy and looking to hire additional headcount across their offices throughout the UK.

The Salisbury team have a strong reputation amongst clients across the South of England. The team undertake the management of Rural Estates, offering a wide range of professional rural advice to Landlords and Tenants, including Property Management and Valuations. The team are now looking to appoint an additional Rural Surveyor in to the business. The role is being offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of 3 days a week in the office.

Your new role
As a Rural Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of Rural Consultancy services on behalf of a portfolio of private rural estate and farming clients. This will encompass a blend of traditional professional services and rural estate management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include -

• Undertake a range of rural landlord and tenant work
• Provide sound rural estate management advice
• Manage relationships with clients, landlords and tenants
• Day-to-day property management of rural, commercial and residential properties

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS preferred, or working towards considered
• Proven experience within a Rural Consultancy / Estate Management role
• A strong understand of property values and leases within the Rural Sector
• Excellent levels of communication and relationship building skills.
