The Role 
In your role as a Projects Service Manager you will: 
  • Oversee Major Projects – kitchen / bathroom schemes / void properties / stores and waste management
  • Manage Contract Administration relating to JCT/NEC contracts for procured services.
  • To lead Quantity Surveying teams associated with the delivery of domestic repairs and maintenance, planned investment and new build schemes, as well as non-housing capital and repairs and maintenance
  • To effectively manage and monitor dedicated budgets to provide best value for money and the optimum possible level of service.
Essential Skills
  • Experience of being able to procure contractors and knowledge of how to navigate procurement process to secure contractors.
  • Previous Project Management experience. 
  • Knowledge of building contract law in the social housing environment.
  • BSc (Hons) or equivalent qualification in a Construction related discipline.

Desirable Skills
  • A Local Authority background is not essential but understanding how to work closely within LA procurement processes will be essential.
