Surveyor - Reporting into Asset Management function at a leading housing association based in Plymouth

Your new company
As a Technical Surveyor you will join a leading provider of affordable homes based in the Plymouth region. Joining an asset management team, your work will be pivotal in the delivery of improvement works in the city of Plymouth, delivering schemes across 16,000 homes.

Your new role
Your role will involve working up specifications and scopes of work for the planned maintenance programme within the asset management team. This will include overseeing some complex design solutions, working on an extensive upcoming retrofit programme. As a Surveyor, you will arrange to undertake condition surveys and complete options appraisals, before progressing projects to delivery phase.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have either an HND or HNC in a construction or building related topic, or equivalent. It would also be highly beneficial to posses and be able to utilise experience and knowledge gained from social housing previously.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an initial six month contract, which is likely to extend beyond this point or could progress into a permanent position. Across the initial interim period of time, you will receive a competitive hourly rate, and be able to take advantage of holiday pay and a pension contribution, receiving payment on a weekly basis.

This is a hybrid working role, allowing work from home for 3 days per week.
