Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and innovative Construction Project Management Consultancy based in Northampton working on projects across the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors.

About the role

This exciting multi-disciplined consultancy who works on projects across the UK is looking for someone to join their constantly expanding team due to their consistent success. Specialising largely in healthcare projects such as care homes and retirement flats, they invest heavily into each member of the team and believe that "the quality of any consultancy business is dependent upon its people".

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will join the strong close knit team of 27 and will be responsible for a combination of pre and post contract cost management and contribution to the entire project lifecycle with a view to moving into managing your own projects, historically with a value of between £5 to £40 million.

The team will also closely support and mentor you through the early stages in your career, as well as funding your APC to become chartered. About you

You must have a RICS accredited degree and have experience working in the construction industry whether this is from a consultancy or contractor background or working through day release over a few years.
