Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) – East London – Directorship Potential

My client is a well-regarded, long-established independent property consultancy specialising in Commercial and Residential Management, Agency and Surveying, working out of East London offices covering local postcodes as well as North London, Essex and the inner M25 generally.

As a result of onboarding additional clients, winning new contracts and general business growth, they now require an additional Senior Building Surveyor for a range of privately instructed surveying works across London and Inner M25 postcodes generally.

This role will involve both operational and management duties including responsibility for a small, but growing team of building surveyors.

Exposure or experience with the following professional services is also desired:

• Schedules of works and specifications
• Contract administration
• Project management
• Dilapidations
• Insurance valuations/claims and licenses for alterations 

The ideal Senior Building Surveyor will come from either a corporate or private practice background, have a stable career history, a genuine interest in quality-focused, non-time constrained inspection work and live within a reasonable commute of East London (whilst our client offers part-home working, they do expect Residential / Building Surveyors to attend the office as part of their focus on team building). Experience of management and client relations is also beneficial.

Remuneration for the successful Senior Building Surveyor is negotiable but will include:

• Basic Salary up to £75k
• Profit Share (Allowing for £100k OTE)
• Generous car allowance
