AssocRICS/MRICS Building Surveyor

My client is a well-regarded, long-established independent property consultancy specialising in Commercial and Residential Management, Agency and Surveying, working out of East London offices covering local postcodes as well as North London, Essex and the inner M25 generally.

As a result of onboarding additional clients, winning new contracts and general business growth, they now require an additional building surveyor for a range of privately instructed surveying works across London and Inner M25 postcodes generally.

For suitable Building Surveyors, there is also an option to fulfil a wider professional remit across their in-house residential and commercial portfolios encompassing project work and professional services such as:

• schedules of works and specifications
• contract administration
• project management
• dilapidations
• insurance valuations / claims and licenses for alterations 

Suitable Building Surveyors will come from either a corporate or private practice background, have a stable career history, a genuine interest in quality-focused, non-time constrained inspection work and live within a reasonable commute of East London (whilst our client offers part-home working, they do expect Residential / Building Surveyors to attend the office as part of their focus on team building). You must have a RICS accreditation (AssocRICS or MRICS)

Remuneration for the successful Building Surveyor is negotiable but will include:

• Basic Salary up to £60k
• Bonuses based on performance and/or fees
• Generous car allowance
• Potential for progression
• (as well as RICS fees paid etc.)

Part-time working is available and can be considered on a case by case basis.
