We are currently looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to fill a permanent opening with a company located in Manchester. Interested candidates must have a range of surveying experience from project to professional and at least 5 years' postgraduate experience. Responsibilities of the Chartered Building Surveyor: Undertaking building surveys.Assisting preparation and submitting applications for Planning and Building Control consents.Negotiating the repair of work or a financial settlement if required.Managing projects and/or multidisciplinary teamsCarry out surveys, inspections, schedules, provide professional services and the management of schemes.Experience of defect analysis, undertaking building surveys and producing professional reportsDilapidation Liability Assessment ReportsSchedules of ConditionParty Wall Duties Requirements of the Chartered Building Surveyor: Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)At least 3-5 years' postgraduate experience with provable technical delivery experienceGood AutoCAD skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFull understanding of Health and Safety requirements. On offer for the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- The starting salary for this position ranges from £37,500 to £42,500 depending on experience.
