Chartered Building Surveyor / Architectural Technician/Technologist (MRICS / CIAT)
This is an exciting opportunity for either a Chartered Building Surveyor or an Architectural Technician / Technologist with a few years' industry experience to join our team with a pipeline of exciting projects. We are developing and expanding our organisation and we would like you to join our growing surveying practice, based in Herefordshire. This position provides the right candidate with exciting career opportunities within an attractive working environment and area, which includes Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire and South / Mid-Wales.
This position involves undertaking a broad range of duties for Residential, Educational, Retail and Commercial clients. For example, Building Surveys on Listed Buildings, HomeBuyers Surveys, Defects surveys, Architectural Design work, Planning Applications, Project Management duties, Expert Witness and Party Wall matters. The candidate will be expected to drive projects forward in a proactive manner, be a team player, focused on excellence in service and project delivery and communications with Clients and Contractors alike, be extremely organised, personable with a keen attention to detail.
A good working knowledge and experience of AutoCAD, Planning and Building Regulations is essential, together with an interest in working on a diverse range of historic buildings, structures and properties of a varied nature.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for managing your own workload as well as being involved in developing a new area of the business and working within a great team.
Salary: Dependant on experience and qualifications
Full time position: 37 hrs per week
Potential for flexible working: office/home
Annual holidays: 22 pa plus bank holidays
