A fantastic opportunity for a commercially- minded RICS qualified Associate / Associate Director (Agency) to join our growing Lease and Transactional Services team in London.

With great opportunities for progression and personal development, this is an exciting role for a confident and self-motivated Surveyor with at least 3 years post qualification experience in acquisition and disposals of investments, development sites, leasing and letting. The team has a broad range of landlord and tenant clients, working on a variety of fast paced and interesting instructions, with a particular focus on the retail and leisure sector.

You’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end transaction process as well as the appraisal and modelling of opportunities for new and existing clients.

Essential requirements

  • Acquisitions & Disposals of Investments, Development Sites and Leasing and letting situations
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with customers/partners
  • Rental and Capital Valuations
  • Preparation of Investment and Development Appraisals
  • Cashflow modelling understanding and knowledge of the retail market

Desirable requirements

  • Use of Argus Investor or Kel Investment Valuer
  • Use of Argus Developer Skills

Skills

  • Good negotiator, communicator, and team player with great client facing skills
  • Strong property understanding across sectors
  • Ability to think strategically and holistically about clients’ real estate needs
  • Detailed knowledge of Excel Development and Investment Appraisals
  • Oversee and provide a thorough, detail oriented due diligence on investment transactions
  • Providing support, mentorship, and supervision to junior team members
  • Significant commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically, with the hands-on to ensure proper execution.
  • You will have a full UK Driving Licence and be willing to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays away from home.
