Joshua Robert recruitment are recruiting for an Estate Service Manager to start work in Birmingham.

Due to expansion my client is witnessing exciting times and require likeminded Estate Service Managers to encourage growth and help there organisation move forward.

The location where the Estate Service Manager will be working is in the B1 area of Birmingham, parking will be provided.

Salary for the Estate Service Manager 35k per annum

The successful candidates daily duties

§ Working knowledge and understanding of Estate Services management in relation to a large property/asset holding organisation.

§ Good knowledge of plant management and ability to understand technical information related service requirements.

§ Working knowledge of Health, safety, and Environmental issues able to interpret policy and legislation and implement best practice across the service.

§ Able to meet deadlines, remain calm under pressure and to deliver on premises.

§ Good ICT skills and ability to develop, implement and main appropriate quantity, surveying/estimating systems for operational and management purposes.

§ Strong project management skills.

§ Working knowledge of Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.

§ Able to understand and interpret contracts and service level agreements.

§ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the management and delivery of Estate Services to a large property/asset holding organisation.

§ Experience of successful leadership of a team.

§ Experience of establishing, managing, and controlling budgets.

§ Experience of management plant and equipment and maintaining records.

§ Experience of resolving client and /or customer enquiries or requests.

§ Experience of developing and managing systems and processes to ensure that the customer receives excellent service.

§ Experience of calculating and comparing costs for goods or service to ensure that the services achieve maximum value for money.

§ Experience of working within a commercial environment.

Requirements

  • GCSE grade A – C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Management qualification NVQ level 3 or higher
  • Health and safety qualification IOSH/NEBOSH
  • COSHH assessor
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
 

 

 

 

Full driving license required

 

  • Ability to liaising with customers at all levels to explain the work being undertaken and to keep them updated on progress and any changes.
  • To act as an advocate for customers to ensure that they receive a fair and high-quality service when undertaking repairs service by working within the core values
