Quantity Surveyor - Italian speaking

THE ROLE

I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a firm of construction consultants (PQS) in MILAN, ITALY.

You will work on new build, refurbishment, fit out mainly on international brand hotel projects initially.

You should be at around Project Surveyor level or above and be able to do both pre and post contract QS duties.

You will need to have good Italian - written and spoken and reasonable English.

My client will offer good prospects for ambitious quantity surveyors.

THE COMPANY

My client is a successful firm of construction consultants providing project management, building surveying and cost management services to private and public sector clients.

They work on projects for hotels, residential, infrastructure and more.

They are based in both the UK and in the EU.

THE CANDIDATE

You will be a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager in the building construction industry.

You will need to be working for another firm of construction consultants or multi disciplinary consultants in the construction industry.

You will need to have a Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or another RICS or Built Environment subject.

You must have worked as a QS working on projects from feasibility through project delivery and handover.

You will be conversant with all pre and post contract duties and be able to work at Project Surveyor or Senior QS level.

You must have excellent Italian (written and spoken) plus reasonable English.

Salary is negotiable according to your experience but will be in the range of Euro 60000 to Euro 85000 per annum or more plus other benefits according to your level of expertise.
