This well-established privately-owned construction, development and property services company in London are currently looking to recruit an Associate Partnerships Director due to significant growth within the business. The strategy of the Partnership's team is to establish optimised exit solutions for the Partnerships' interests, by encapsulating land sales and enhanced construction packages with or without a development joint venture structure attached.

A key requirement of this position is the ability to negotiate quality contractual terms, optimising the value chain across the whole business. This represents a strong opportunity to work within a highly knowledgeable business within a well-respected senior leadership team that underpin the agility of this established organization - predominantly targeting their client base of RP's / Investment Funds / Senior Living operators/BTR and PBSA operators.

Description

• Under the direction of the Partnerships Director and in coordination with the delivery units' project targets (size / scope / geographic reach), co-ordinate the pipeline and capital to meet stated objectives annually.
• Support the performance and development of skills within the Partnerships' team. Ensure the motivation of the sub-team to deliver on strategy and land objectives.
• Strong in-house capability on land deal structures, option agreements and brokering the conversations between vendor / vendors' representative on one hand and the client on the other.
• Responsible for agreeing principal terms of land and build contracts. Key terms impact considerably on profit pipeline, quality and business control of land.
• Technical skill of identifying and appreciating quality potential sites, account for site constraints, technical aspects, market and landowner, planning credentials (key judgements required) as well as also considering the customer-partners to package an exit too.

Profile

The successful candidate must possess 10+ years' relevant industry experience along with a detailed knowledge of land, land law, planning, development, development technical / services, valuation, housing markets, negotiations and contracts. Degree preferred, ideally relevant to the sector. RICS accredited would be advantageous but not essential.
