Carriera has been retained to secure an assistant building surveyor, for a premier building consultancy in Tunbridge Wells.

About the business...

Our client is a multi-discipline consultancy that provide an extensive list of services throughout the built environment, globally. Within the UK, the business employs 500+ across 14 offices, working with an array of clients ranging from investors, through to occupiers, developers, end users and also local governments.

Following a significant increase in project wins and successful expansion plans. They are now looking for an Assistant Building Surveyor to help develop and grow the business in the Kent and Sussex areas. As a new team, you will have an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of its growth.

The Opportunity...

The opportunity will see you delivering technical expertise in building surveying with a special interest in areas of design & specification. You will work alongside the Senior/Managing surveyors, interacting daily with clients and will encompass other duties such as; Surveys, Inspections, Delivery and management of project teams, Party wall awards, Dilapidations and more.

You will be challenged with managing small to midsize projects, that will test your communication and management skills providing a great level of autonomy though support when needed from your senior peers.

To be successful...

The successful candidate will be motivated, driven, and prepared to go the extra mile. You will have a RICS accredited degree, and can display theoretical and practical knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD. It is important that you are organised, professional and committed with a good understanding of project and professional services.
