Beach Baker Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with Hartnell Taylor Cook (HTC) to recruit a Senior Surveyor, or Associate Director Cost Consultant in Bristol.

About the company
HTC is an independent property consultancy based in Bristol (H/Q) and London.

The Cost Consultancy team works with commercial property investors, developers, owners and occupiers.

About the team
The Cost Consultancy team have been established for 2-years' and are based in Bristol.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Cost Consultancy. The team acts as a stand alone cost centre within HTC managing their own projects. They also provide advice assisting the Building Surveying, Project Management, Investment and Property Management departments.

The Bristol office employs 50 plus professional and support staff, and is located on Redland Hill (the AXA Building) with excellent access to city centre amenities including Whiteladies Road, The Downs and Clifton Village.

The position
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering full pre and post contract, Cost Consultancy services a full range of construction projects, from refurbishment schemes, to new build developments.

The project split is roughly 75% private and 25% public sector. The majority of projects are located in the South West and South East.

The candidate
Ideally MRICS qualified with minimum 3+ years' experience within a PQS environment. Experience acting as employers agent on design and build projects. Ideally you will be working for a competing firm and can bring business or have contacts to develop future fee income.
