Our Client

Our client is a UK-based developer with one of the largest solar development pipelines in the market. The company has a ten-year track record in both the UK and Ireland. The vision over the next 5 years is to develop enough solar capacity to meet the domestic electricity needs of at least one million UK homes. This is the equivalent of every home in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham combined.

The Role

From the point of identifying a grid connection opportunity, the land manager is responsible for shaping the project, establishing the key landowner relationships and driving a project’s land transactions to completion. This is a highly varied role and the land manager will interact closely with all parts of the business including Grid, Design, GIS, Planning/Project Management and Business Development teams.

The Candidate

Prospective candidates will need to have the ability to multitask across and within projects. Tenacity, the ability to problem solve and the desire to learn/ask questions are all key traits required to be successful in the role. Strong relationship building skills are essential.
