Beach Baker are delighted to be working in partnership with Black Cat again, this time to recruit an Associate Director in Bristol.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Black Cat are an independent building consultancy formed in 2015 by three surveyors who wanted to create a firm which is open and transparent for its employees and deliver an excellent service to its clients. 

The offices are based in Manchester, London and Bristol, and employ 40 staff across the business.

They have a unique business model and truly offer something different in the market to both clients and employees which makes it an exciting place to work.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Bristol office has been running for four years and comprises of five building surveyors. All surveyors previously worked at the well-known large national consultancies.

The office is located on Great George Street (just off Park Street) with excellent access to city centre amenities including Clifton, Cabot Circus and Harbourside.

THE POSITION

Responsible for the full range of building surveying duties with particular emphasis on contract administration, project management, dilapidations and acquisition surveys.  Building works projects will be varied in type, with opportunities to work on multi million pounds schemes.

Impressive client list including all of the major funds and well-known investment managers which provide great opportunities for exciting work.

THE CANDIDATE

Ideally MRICS qualified with minimum 5+ years’ PQE within the commercial sector. 

An individual with the ability and desire to strengthen our existing client relationships and in time build new ones.

The hiring manager is happy to consider an established Associate Director (maybe a few years away from becoming a Director), or Senior Surveyor looking to take their next career step.

THE PACKAGE AND BENEFITS

Year 1 salary £63,000, comprising basic salary of £43,000 and year-1 guaranteed bonus of £20,000 (£5,000 paid each quarter).
