A Commercial Manager opportunity with a Mayfair based developer that has an interesting story behind them, they’ve certainly grown from strength to strength since they were founded 10 years ago.

The business work in multiple sectors, focused on student accommodation, build to rent, hotels and commercial schemes across the UK – they have assets under management of more than £1bn although typical project values would range anywhere from £50m-£90m.

You would be reporting to the Commercial Director, working closely with the Acquisitions Team, Investment Team and the Finance Team, identifying risk, producing development appraisals, you will need to be able to manage and maintain relationships with the main contractors and other third parties on a daily basis – a lot of variation to your day-to-day! All teams work very collaboratively with one and other, lots of back and forth etc.

Currently 45 staff across all functions and they work in a stunning open plan office - they aren’t a huge boozy culture, but they’re always out on fancy lunches - once a month they pay for a professional chef to come in and cook for everyone.

They look after their staff well, very generous bonus structure which isn’t all necessarily discretionary – for example, if you save the business money on a claim or dispute then you will be rewarded.
