We are looking for someone to join a small but growing team in the Oxford area, with a range of clients and a growing base there is a need for a rural surveyor.
Our client
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a successful firm of chartered surveyors who are seeking a rural surveyor to join their growing team based in the Oxford area. You will be joining a friendly, entrepreneurial, and inclusive culture with the ability to progress within the company. With plenty of work and a need for succession planning, there is plenty of opportunity for career progression.
The Role
The opportunity has arisen because of a growing client base and to take the load off the rest of the wider team. The office has an excellent mix of experience. With support from the directors, you will be able to grow your skillset and career. There is a mix of work available which can be tailored around your strengths, including:
- Farm business management
- Grants and subsidies
- Compulsory purchase and compensation
- Valuations
- Estate management
- Professional services
- Planning and devolpment
Working with longstanding clients there is an immediate body of work for you to pick up with a fully supported handover to ensure your long-term success.
The Ideal Candidate
With a couple of years post qualification experience, you are likely to be looking for your next step.
You will have the confidence to gain trust with, and inspire clients, maintain good relationships, and be self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to communicate clearly and to work within a team as well as independently.
