Your new role
As a Building Surveyor, your role will involve undertaking building surveys centred around the latest Fire Safety Act, and interpreting this into a meaningful package of work. You do not need to be a fire specialist, however, you will have excellent building pathology and building technology knowledge. Your role will involve assessing and evaluating the adequacy of fabric and passive fire protection installations in buildings measured against fire tests reports. Duties will also include desktop reviewed of relevant fire documentation (existing fire risk assessment reports; (existing fire safety strategy reports; fire drawings, such as fire compartmentation drawings).


What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an excellent fit for this position if you meet the following criteria:

• Excellent building pathology or building technology knowledge
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - you will be articulate & empathetic

This role will offer a starting salary of between £45,000 - £50,000 + car allowance, dependent on level of experience.
