Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing the cost management on a range of £multi-million projects across a variety of different projects including commercial, office fit outs, student accommodation, healthcare and leisure. You will be involved with full pre and post contract quantity surveying, estimating, cost planning and contract administration as well as tender documentation / reports. This role will also require you to utilize your past experience and assist the development of junior staff, and also contribute to the future opportunities and exciting growth of the firm.


What you'll need to succeed
- Chartered with a strong track record within private practice quantity surveying
- Experience with cost planning, value engineering, preparing tenders, billing
- Confident in front of clients, being able to build rapport with them and develop fruitful relationships
- Ability to mentor staff & lead teams is beneficial
- Experience working on high value projects within a good mixed project range (both private & public sector experience in advantageous)


What you'll get in return
Our client is offering a strong overall package to attract the right individual including lots of additional benefits which will enhance your job satisfaction. The base salary will depend on experience but will reach up to £62,000 and further benefits can include car allowance, healthcare, fantastic holiday allowance and flexible working, development days & team trips abroad, pension contribution + more.
