Working on multiple projects each year from our carbon reduction programme taking place within over 90 council buildings in Leicester, including schools, leisure centres, libraries and community centres. To refurbishment of the bus station, regeneration projects such as house building at Ashton Green, introducing innovations such as positive energy districts, ground source heat pumps in car park basements and smart buildings. We require your guidance as a technical project manager to make projects a reality.

What you'll be doing
Day to day you’ll be responsible for the management of projects both pre- and post-contract. Incorporating project delivery ensuring schemes are delivered on time, on budget and a high quality is maintained. Using management skills you’ll oversee financial and risk management reports including forward forecasting and mitigation option. Working with the team to create full stakeholder and design team/contractor interface.
Working as part of the team you’ll inspire confidence in those around you. Utilising your impressive verbal and written skills to propose pragmatic and practical solutions to determine the most appropriate building and engineering solutions; for the end user/client team members to ensure the overall project objectives are achieved.
What you’ll need
As well as your excellent proven track record in Capital Projects as a Project Manager within a construction/consultancy environment. You’ll have a relevant construction related technical specialism such as Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Project Manager, Project management, M&E Engineering, Architectural experience or similar. Ideally being a member of a relevant professional body (MRICS/MAPM/CIOB) or have willingness to obtain within 12 months.
