NHS - Estates Officer

Your new company & Your new role
Your new company is a large NHS Trust based in the Southwest, that play a critical part, in ensuring that the 6 million people it serves, have access to emergency care at any given time. As an Estates Officer working for the NHS, you will be play critical role within the wider Estates Team, taking full ownership of service stations within your region, are maintained at an optimal level, providing the best possible environment for its key workers to deliver life-saving services.

Due to the nature of the environment you will be working in, you will ensure, that minor works and capital schemes have minimal impact on the services it provides to the public As an Estates Officer, you will be responsible for delivery of planned and responsive works varying in size and complexity, acting as a 'technical specialist' centred around asbestos compliance, gas safety and electrical management


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be empathic in nature and have an acute awareness of the live environment where you will be working. You will have good understanding of current IEE regulations and hold an 18th Edition certification, with experience in maintenance management within construction or building services.
