Amida is recruiting for a small, international construction consultancy focusing on the luxury sector. This Project manager will work specifically on Luxury retail and all of the current projects are in Europe so the role provides opportunity for extensive travel.

This new consultancy specialises in flagship retail projects. They have experience in Europe's leading luxury destinations. They provide a multi-disciplined offering from project management, programme management, design management, cost management through to construction monitoring.

No two days will be the same in this Project Management position, you will work on exciting and high-profile projects. This is a new consultancy started by experienced industry professionals and joining the team now in its infancy will allow you to carve a specialism within luxury retail brands alongside a greater input in the business' future.

Experience of working as a consultancy Project Manager in luxury retail is a must, a knowledge of working in Europe on luxury retail projects would be an advantage and a European language even more so.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Relevant experience of managing construction project delivery
• Understanding of luxury retail construction
• Strong Commercial acumen with financial and analytical capability. Ability to budget and manage project costs and a solid understanding of financial reconciliation of construction related costs
• Ability to manage tenders process, analyse bids and negotiate costs
• Flexibility in dealing with and reacting to changing priorities
• Ability to manage teams including consultants, 3rd party providers and local teams to ensure timely completion and maintenance of global standard for all projects and delivery of agreed milestones
• Ability to read MS project and analyse a construction schedule, as well as, ability to complete one, evaluate updates and changes to the timing and schedule to ensure milestones are maintained
• Excellent communication skills, present and share information effectively, and work confidently with cross functional teams
• Experience of managing multiple projects and a proven track record of delivering against pre-determined requirements in a timely manner. Excellent prioritisation skills.
• Brings experience working with global clients and design teams. Project and design management focused, with an understanding of the retail landscape across Europe.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with 5yrs plus experience, it's a chance to strength your presence in the luxury retail sector whilst enjoying lots of European travel. The role is based in London with travel at least 2 times a month for 3 days a time, minimum. French or Italian speaking Project Managers are most desirable however any Western European language would strengthen your application.
