Assistant Project Manager - Luxury residential

Consultancy

London - European travel

£40k - £ 50k

Amida is recruiting for a small, international construction consultancy focusing on the luxury sector. This Assistant Project manager will work specifically on Luxury retail and all of the current projects are in Europe so the role provides opportunity for extensive travel.

This new consultancy specialises in flagship retail projects. They have experience in Europe's leading luxury destinations. No two days will be the same in this Project Management position, you will work on exciting and high-profile projects.

This is a new consultancy started by experienced industry professionals and joining the team now in its infancy will allow you to carve a specialism within luxury retail brands alongside a greater input in the business' future.

They are seeking an APM to assist the team and Directors, desirably you will have experience of working as a consultancy APM in Luxury retail or similar however if you are from an Architectural background with luxury retail experience looking for move into Project Management this would be great too. A Western European Language would also be an advantage.

Assistant Project Manager requirements:

  • Help coordinate and manage multiple projects throughout Europe
  • Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
  • Organise, file and maintain all current project documents
  • Schedule meetings, phone calls, site visits, etc.
  • Have an eye for detail and design. An architectural training and on-site construction experience in luxury retail would be helpful but not imperative
  • Have an ability to read technical drawings, technical specifications, construction methods and knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. CDM Regulations, Health & Safety, Building Regulations)
  • Have a can-do attitude, troubleshooting issues on site and finding effective, practical and cost/time-efficient solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excels in a high-paced work environment
  • Ability to multi-task effectively

  • Be an excellent multi-tasker and communicator across all forms, organised and presentable with an ability to solve problems in a practical and unflappable manner
  • Be confident interfacing with and relating to private clients, consultants and main contractors
  • Be a strong communicator, demonstrating a high-level of emotional intelligence and insight to deal with high net worth clients
  • Be a team player
