Opportunity for Project Manager to deliver planned programmes of works on housing stock across Somerset
Your new company
As a specialist Project Manager you will work for a landlord and provider of affordable housing based in the Somerset and wider South West region. Your new employer are responsible for the management and continued maintenance over over 4500 homes, featuring buildings of various age and condition.
Your new role
You will utilise robust Project Management skills, particularly in the delivery phase of construction projects in order to ensure projects are completed on time, to the required quality and within budget. Your role will involve liaising with tenants as well as building contractors and other professional team members throughout.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have delivered construction projects previously as a Project Manager, ideally in a maintenance or housing setting. You'll need to demonstrate robust contractor management skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication ability.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an interim contract with initial duration of up to six months, although this is highly likely to extend beyond this date. Further to this, you'll receive an hourly rate of up to £270 per day (umbrella). This role can be undertaken from home, although will require on-site presence across the Somerset region.
