Your new company
Hays are delighted to be working with a major player in the property sector, incredibly well renowned but not like the big corporates. We are partnering with a privately-owned, independent consultancy to recruit an experienced Building Surveyor into their stunning Cambridge office.

Your new role
As the new Building Surveyor you will be joining an established and successful team to carry our a range of Building Surveying services such as dilapidations, party wall, contract administration, building pathology, condition surveys, measured surveys, reinstatement cost assessments, construction monitoring and designing!

You will work closely with the Lead Partner for building surveying across a variety of sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career with an incredible company.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be chartered (MRICS), or hold another similar qualification. You will have experience carrying out the above mentioned services and you will be a proactive and passionate surveyor.

What you'll get in return
In return not only will you be joining a leading Cambridge consultancy, you will also receive a competitive salary, and excellent benefits. The benefits package includes 25 days holiday (increasing with length of service) plus 8 bank holidays, up to 8% contributory pension, health insurance, discretionary bonus and medicash scheme (money towards dental treatments, opticians and remedial therapies).

You will also be working in their modern, state-of-the-art, offices in Central cambrigde, with an onsite Café.

Agile working has been practised by my client for many years, there will be a mix of home and office based working and flexible arrangements can also be discussed!
