Surveyor/Senior Surveyor/Associate

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to support in the implementation of the office agency business plan through managing and developing client relationships, contributing to business development assignments, managing clients assignments, representing the office/ team in the market

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement a plan to develop a client portfolio
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing clients, actively developing business opportunities
  • Manage and liaise with internal teams and external consultants to provide a full service to the client
  • Create and implement plans for gathering and acting on client feedback
  • Contribute to projecting annual fee income via accurate fee forecasting/managing potential fee pipeline
  • Effectively use established systems for debtor and disbursement recovery to secure cash flow and profitability, e.g. billing, debt pricing, costings etc
  • Ensure timesheets are up to date and reflective of current work
  • Ensure own and team’s work complies with firm procedures and guidelines (health & safety, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
  • Provide on-going coaching, mentoring and other development opportunities for Director reports and/or Surveyors/ Consultants; conduct performance reviews with direct reports
  • Keep own knowledge of relevant case law up to date
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell when discussing a client’s requirements
  • Manage budgets and billing on specific client accounts
  • To be aware of all industry legislation and to ensure compliance
  • To adhere to quality procedures

 

Key Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven track record across a variety of sectors
  • Experience of leading projects to deliver seamless client service
  • Demonstrable ability to take responsibility of sizeable and complex client instructions
  • In-depth market and local knowledge in the relevant business area
  • In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry sector
  • Financial acumen and budget management
  • High level business and report writing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of current legislation and case law relevant to role
  • Some experience in managing people and teams
  • IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet)
  • IT industry specific packages (i.e. Circle, Developer, Grail, etc)
