Vacancy: Building Surveyor (Home-Based)
Location: South England, London, Greater London.
Salary: D.O.E Circa (£45,000 - £55,000) + company car (New VW golf)
35 Hours Per Week

This client organisation owns, manages and develops a property portfolio that is made up of care, commercial and residential assets. This diverse portfolio is nationwide but  is headquartered just outside Crawley.

You will be part of a small high functioning property team, made up of both general practice and building surveyors. With such a diverse and wide spread portfolio, you will be responsible for projects from alterations, refurbishments through to new build RIBA prize winning facilities.

You will be responsible for scoping the works, developing the brief, setting budgets, controlling cost, appointing and managing consultants through to handover.

You will be a experienced building surveyor, who is ideally working towards their chartership with the RICS or may even be Chartered. Your experience will come from private practice or a client organisation. It is essential that you are used to managing your own workload, working within and contributing to a team environment.  You will have a good grounding in industry, have a good working knowledge of building defects and troubleshooting, have a good understanding of different construction methods and have excellent contract knowledge. You will be used to using Microsoft Office, in particular word and excel, and have a good understanding of Microsoft Project.
