Senior Building Surveyor

Carriera is seeking a project bias senior building surveyor with commercial, industrial, or retail experience.

Our client operates within the private sector working with funds, investors, hotels, retail giants, and landed estates to name a few. They employ 20+ staff made up of five partners, supported by a very talented and diverse team of building surveyors and project managers.

They have an opportunity for a chartered building surveyor that enjoys project related work and on occasion providing technical professional advice to clients including high-net-worth families / individuals, investors, tenants, funds, hotels and retail giants.

Project related duties include contract administration, project management, project monitoring, construction management. Other services include, TDD, building surveys, dilapidations, expert witness, reinstatement cost assessments and PPM’s to name a few.

Projects they have recently completed include the part-demolition and construction of new supermarket valued at £3m and more recently they have procured a design and build boutique hotel, acting as project appraisal and fund monitor valued at £7m.

About You

To be successful you will be chartered via MRICS and will have a degree in building surveying. Commercial sector experience is not a necessity. What is important is that you can display strong building surveying knowledge and have the passion and desire to want to continue your career within the commercial sector.
