Role Profile

We have an opportunity for an experienced commercial and residential valuation surveyor to join Berrys’ busy and expanding professional consultancy team based in the Shrewsbury office. The role will complement our commercial agency and development, building surveying and management services.

We are looking for a surveyor who has the ability to develop and grow with the department.

Skills & Experience

The role requires the candidate to be a Chartered Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience. Experience in the following areas is essential:

• Commercial and Residential Valuation work for a wide range of purposes and be a member of the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme.

• Advising clients and negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals.

It would be an advantage to have experience of:

  • Preparation and submission of reports including expert witness.
  • Advising on business rates
  • Sales and Letting agency of commercial and residential properties

The position is office based with administrative support and the surveyor will be required to manage client relationships, provide fee quotes, manage their work to meet deadlines and work as part of a team. The work will require some travel across the West Midlands, Wales and the North West.
