Building Control Surveyor

We have two opportunities with a local authority in Bedfordshire for Building Control Surveyors on a permanent basis. This can be anyone from a trainee to senior level!
What will you do?
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
 
·Conducting technical reviews of building control submissions
·Preparing and issuing Plan Check Reports and Certificates
·Attending meetings and liaising with clients, design teams, architects, and contractors
·Conducting site visits and inspections with reports and follow up measures put in place
Trainee
If you are looking for a career in building control this role could be for you. Opportunity to join a fantastic training programme in a local authority with a clearly defined career pathway. You do not need prior building control experience for this role.
Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 (some flexibility) plus car allowance and market supplement.
Officer
If you have building control experience and would like to further your career this role could be for you.
Salary: £39,000 - £43,500 (some flexibility) plus car allowance and a £5000 market supplement.
