About Us
MO Valuations Ltd was established in July 2021 by the former Directors and Partners of the valuation department of Mason Owen in Liverpool. The team comprises of James Heyes, John Morgan, Andrew McNee and Cerys Williams together with several consultants including a building surveyor. Based in Liverpool our geographical coverage extends across the North of England, Midlands and Wales. We are panel valuers for the majority of recognised national lenders including Lloyds Bank, RBS/National Westminster Bank PLC, Bank of Scotland, Handelsbanken and Arbuthnot Latham amongst others. Due to the success of the firm, we are seeking to recruit an MRICS Valuation Surveyor with at least three years post qualification experience.
Job Description
The role will require you to carry out valuations on a variety of properties and sectors predominantly across the Northwest of England, The Midlands and Wales. It will encompass both residential and commercial properties primarily for loan security purposes, although we also undertake valuations for tax, accounting, pension fund and matrimonial purposes. It will involve you in the whole valuation process from acknowledging instructions through to preparation and sign off of reports. Accordingly, excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential to enable the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Whilst, we have an office in Liverpool city centre, it is commonplace for staff to work remotely from home (2-3 days a week), thereby assisting with the work/life balance. Accordingly, good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and Argus Developer would be beneficial.
