The Role: 

Our high performing Project Management Team is seeking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to support our ever-growing presence in region, located in Epsom. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic individual who has a strong ambition to progress and develop within their career, able to build long-term relationships with world class clients and who enjoys working collaboratively within a vibrant team. Join us and you will benefit from a development programme designed to assist in taking your career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Assist in the delivery of Project Management services across a variety of private and public sectors.
  • Build successful working relationships with the Sector Clients and manage this in conjunction with senior colleagues.
  • Produce monthly reports including project programmes, risk registers, client updates, etc and keep this updated in line with the progress and development of the project/s.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Build your understanding of Faithful+Gould's service offering and assist in promoting the benefits these bring to Clients.
  • Implement effective and efficient communication tools.
  • Positively contribute to the internal team and seek to add value.
  • Be diligent, efficient and pay great attention to detail to deliver quality project support and outputs.
  • Constantly pursue performance improvements.

The successful candidate will bring:

Essential:

  • You should have a degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Technical project management knowledge demonstrating experience and aptitude.
  • Be highly organised and be able to manage your time effectively.
  • Have a positive and innovative approach to project work.
  • Possess the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Understanding of Health Safety and Environmental legislation relevant to the business within the UK construction industry.
  • Must be committed to ongoing personal development.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in both public and private sectors.
  • Strong experience in administering JCT and/or NEC Construction and Professional Services contracts.
