About the Opportunity

The Quantity Surveying function within the Major Programmes division of Jacobs UK operates out of a number of UK city centre locations, serves all industry sectors and provides clients with a full range of pre and post contract quantity surveying and commercial management services.  We have opportunities for a Senior/Principal Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in London and to work on a wide range of exciting programmes and projects of all sizes in and around London, throughout the UK, and further afield. Jacobs offers hybrid working with the option to be full-time in our London office if desired.

Jacobs’ size and geographical reach regularly presents opportunities for staff assignments – permanent or temporary – to some of the world’s most exciting programmes – both in the UK and abroad, for those staff who wish to challenge themselves in these environments.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Degree educated in quantity surveying or other relevant qualification.
  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of common industry standard forms of contract, typically JCT and NEC.
  • Good general commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Use of computerised measurement packages – such as CostX.
  • Good team player.
  • Able to act on own initiative.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
