About the Opportunity

The Quantity Surveying function within the Major Programmes division of Jacobs UK operates out of a number of UK city centre locations, serves all industry sectors and provides clients with a full range of pre and post contract quantity surveying and commercial management services.  We have an opportunity for Associate Director level Quantity Surveyors to join our growing teams in London and Birmingham and to work on a wide range of exciting programmes and projects of all sizes in those locations, throughout the UK, and further afield. Jacobs offers hybrid working with the option to be full-time in our offices if desired.

Jacobs’ size and geographical reach regularly presents opportunities for staff assignments – permanent or temporary – to some of the world’s most exciting programmes – both in the UK and abroad, for those staff who wish to challenge themselves in these environments.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Degree educated in quantity surveying or other relevant qualification.
  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) preferred.
  • Working knowledge of common industry standard forms of contract, typically JCT and NEC.
  • Good general commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Use of computerised measurement packages – such as CostX.
  • Good team player.
  • Able to act on own initiative.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
