Stock Condition Surveyor - Opportunity to join a multidisciplinary consultancy based in Exeter

As a Stock Condition Surveyor you will join a multidisciplinary construction, property and total facilities consultancy based in Exeter. Your new company provide a wide range of services to clients across both private and public sectors, including delivery of improvements to education facilities. Relationships are central to values upheld by your new employer, ultimately providing good quality and value for money services to clients and end customers.
Your new role
Based in the Devon region, you will oversee a programme of Stock Condition Surveys across non-residential stock - buildings including commercial office space, schools and education facilities, retail outlets and multi-use space. You will complete condition surveys using electronic tablets to collate information in relation to the age and condition of property - reporting back on any major defects found as you go.
What you'll need to succeed
Quality of data collected is critical, therefore attention to detail in this role is essential, alongside an ability to use technology and hand held devices effectively. You'll need to have a good grasp of building pathology, and be able to identify technical defects within property. Experience outweighs qualifications, however a degree in Building Surveying, or HNC or HND in Construction would be preferential.
