Senior Surveyor / Associate - Valuation

Hays Property and Surveying are seeking a Senior Surveyor or Associate level Valuation Surveyor to join the regional office of a leading real estate consultancy based in Hampshire.

The business are a leading brand in the commercial real estate sector, providing multi-disciplinary services to a wide range of corporate and private clients. Their South Regional Valuation Advisory team are no exception to this, holding a strong reputation across the South Coast property market. They provide technical Valuation advice on behalf of banks, pension funds, corporate businesses, investors, residential developers and organisations across the Public Sector.

Due to a recent retirement, the Valuation Advisory Team are now looking to appoint an additional Valuer at Senior Surveyor or Associate level. The expectation will see you working in their Hampshire based office, with the ability to work remotely 2-3 days a week.

Your new role
As Senior Surveyor / Associate, you will be responsible for providing a range of commercial and residential real estate Valuation Consultancy advice on behalf of a portfolio of clients. This will include preparing valuation reports for a variety of purpose, including loan security, accounting and taxation. Typically, these will be across a number for core property types including retail, office, industrial and residential investment.

What you'll need to succeed

• MRICS qualified
• Be an RICS Registered Valuer
• Significant experience of undertaking a range of property valuations, in particular loan security work
• Experience of working with a property / real estate consultancy
• If at Associate level, confident in undertaking client business development
• Strong numeracy and literacy and report writing skills
